Refund Policy

What is your refund, deferral or transfer policy?

We adhere to standard marathon running industry policies for refunds, transfers or deferrals. All entry fees are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is noted at all points of registration. When you register for any of our events, you must agree to this policy. The entry fee for this year\\\'s event cannot be deferred to next year\\\'s event, no exceptions. You may not transfer your registration to another participant. You may not give or sell your number to another individual – if you do, this could result in your disqualification as well as disqualification of the runner who uses your race number. There are no refunds if you cannot participate in the 2012 event. This policy stays in effect whether you are injured, have unexpected business, family emergency, pregnancy, illness, etc. There are NO exceptions. Any inquiry regarding this policy will be directed back to this page.

I was injured after registering. Can I get a refund or defer my registration until next year?

No. There will be NO refunds or deferments to a subsequent year. We incur fixed costs for each runner based on registration numbers. As a result, we are not able to allow any refunds or deferrals to a future year.

I already registered for the Marathon but can\\\'t run. Can I let my friend or family member race with my bib?

No. There are no transfers allowed. Due to safety concerns, each individual must register for themselves and wear their own bib with the correct information. It is important that the registration data associated with your bib number belongs to you. While it may seem harmless to run under an unauthorized bib number, it does convey serious consequences to the organizers and volunteers. Correct information allows medical staff to correctly identify participants in need of medical attention and ensures accuracy of race results and awards.
